A site salvaged from the neglect of estate developers, the Savana project gave opportunity to explore height- to give residents a point of visual interest upon entry into the estate.

Situated in the largest green space of the Wynbrook Estate Park, it was important to continue the blending of the pre-existing hardscaped elements such as retaining walls, into the trees and surrounding plantings. A vision of a treehouse, clad in a natural palette of earthy tones was thereby executed. As the surrounding trees continue to grow, the hope is that this unit will in time be obstructed by greenery and the large bubble windows will allow users to peak out into the encompassing canopies.
